If you enjoy stand-up comedy and are looking for a hilarious show to check out this year, be sure to come to Food & Groove Festival, Saturday 6th August 2022 when our host will be renowned comedian White Yardie (sometimes known as Prince Harry). His unique style of humour will have you in stitches from start to finish.

Jamaican born and now based in the UK, White Yardie has been on stage since his final year in college. With his laid back, down to earth and unique style, he’s been described as a breath of fresh air with a comedic twist that will leave audiences wanting more.
White Yardie keeps his fans happy with regular shows and keeps them coming back. He is always ready to step up for a challenge as in the case of debate about his identity as a white Jamaican.
“Being white and from Jamaica, there was the whole heap of discrimination when me just start. There are people who can’t, or won’t, accept it and those that don’t like it. Within comedian circles, they would comment, ‘ah who him think him is and a put on the accent’?,” White Yardie told The Gleaner.
He began his career through social media outlets, predominately Instagram #wyardie, ‘sharing satirical stories that speak the truth, mocking questionable characters and exposing hypocrisy’. His video clips went viral and now White Yardie is one of today’s leading insightful comedians.
As music lovers and food enthusiasts descend upon Manchester for Food & Groove Festival this summer, White Yardie is sure to help you have the best weekend. This summer food and music festival will be at The Field, Garrison Historic Area featuring international and local music performers, and food vendors from across the UK.
So mark your calendars and get ready for some serious laughter!
