A popular old-school DJ, Bosey Smiley knows how to get a party started and keep it going. He’s got an extensive collection of music from all genres, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. And his fun, outgoing personality is sure to keep everyone entertained.
Bosey Smiley has always loved music from a very young age.
Bosey’s older brother “Reggae Smiley” from out of “Bubbler’s High Quality” was his biggest influence to go into a music career, and was named after him as “Junior Smiley”.
Whilst growing up his confidence developed as a Selector; because of the confident way he handled the sound system, he was renamed” Bosey Smiley”. A skillful deejay and selector, Bosey Smiley started out his career in the early 1980s.
In 1982 Bosey Smiley played music on Jacob sound, “not seriously just having fun”.
He started to take music seriously from 1984/1985 with Selectors Outer-national. It wasnt long before he began to make a name for himself as one of the UK’s top DJs.
In the 1980’s to early 1990’s, he did a few guest appearances on “Front Line Radio” with Selectors Sound. In 1993/1994 Bosey Smiley started playing “Hussla Ghetto Hart”, which he still plays today. Bosey Smiley’s music can be described as upbeat, positive and fun. His selection covers all genres including Reggae, RnB, Soul, Charts, Soca, Basement, Funky House, Garage, Motown, Rap, so something for everyone to enjoy. He always gets the party started and keeps it going with his infectious personality and great tunes. 2021 he started the “Anything goes Show” on GY Radio; this show is still ongoing today. Bosey Smiley never fails to get a party going and keep it going with his great music and fun personality.
In addition, Bosey Smiley is a popular workshop leader, working with teenagers aged 13 to 18 and 18 to 25, teaching all aspects of DJing.
